What Charlie Kirk's 3-Year-Old Daughter Said When Told 'Daddy Is In Heaven'

After the tragic assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk nearly two months ago at a Utah University event, his widow, Erika Kirk, shared how their children are coping without him. Erika spoke about their experience during an interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters.

Children's Perspective on Their Father's Passing

Erika revealed that her young children—a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son—still ask questions about their father. Her daughter, in particular, is curious about communicating with him.

“Are they still asking, 'where is daddy?'?” host Watters asked.

“Yes, my daughter continues to ask,” Erika responded. “But it is really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. And I said, if you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.”

Erika's Emotional Moment

During the interview, Erika became emotional when discussing her personal life. She explained how she comforts her daughter:

“And I told her, I said, you know Daddy is in heaven. She goes, 'You think I could go sometime?' I said, 'Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.'”

Erika's words reflect the tender way she helps her children understand and cope with their loss.

Summary

Despite their profound loss, Erika Kirk supports her young children by encouraging their belief that Daddy is always listening, offering them comfort through faith and hope.
