Alan Carr has humorously criticized his fellow Celebrity Traitors contestants, calling them “thick” for not realizing he was secretly eliminating them throughout the series. The comedian, currently in Florida for the show's finale, declared himself “the most hated man in the UK” after successfully ousting national treasure Celia Imrie and friend Paloma Faith on the BBC program.
While taking his niece and nephew to Universal Studios in Orlando, Alan told Heart Radio:
“That’s why I’m in America. I’m the most hated man in Britain.”
He remains amused and surprised that none of his celebrity friends caught on sooner:
“I’ve got loads of celebrity friends, but are they thick? I’m giggling when people are murdered. When they don’t come down for breakfast, I just stick cheese in my mouth.”
At 49, Alan admitted the experience as a TV “killer” has been both entertaining and exhausting:
“It’s stressful murdering every day… but I’m getting a taste for it.”
Fellow contestant Cat Burns, 25, told The Times she’s managing the sudden spotlight mainly by “staying at home,” describing the whole situation as “a bit mad.”
Recently eliminated star Kate Garraway predicted Alan’s victory, sharing with BBC Radio 2:
“I think he’s going to win. I’m going to say it now.”
She believes Alan’s constant giggles during challenges might be his winning edge.
Alan Carr’s playful criticism and unpredictable antics have made him a standout contestant on Celebrity Traitors, with strong predictions he will take the crown.
