Lorraine Kelly to celebrate another year of fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal

Lorraine Kelly Celebrates a Year of Fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal

STV will air a special live broadcast this Friday from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow, focusing on three projects supported by the STV Children’s Appeal during 2025. The program will honor the efforts and achievements of those who have helped make a difference through the charity.

Television personality Lorraine Kelly, who has been a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since its founding, will host the event. She will meet individuals from across Scotland who have contributed to or benefited from the charity’s work over the past year.

Before the live show, Kelly was photographed wearing a kilt and scarf made from the official STV Children’s Appeal tartan, designed by the Paisley-based family business Houston Kiltmakers. The tartan features the vibrant pink, yellow, and blue colors associated with the charity and was produced earlier this year to support its fundraising efforts.

“Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ,” Kelly said. “I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them.”
