Megyn Kelly delivered a sharp rebuke to the Republican Party following their significant losses on Election Day. Speaking on “The Megyn Kelly Show” Wednesday afternoon, Kelly highlighted major Democratic victories in California, New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City.
“The Republican party needs to get its s–t together ASAP,” Kelly stated emphatically.
She sarcastically referenced the party’s focus on minor distractions instead of core issues:
“I’m really glad we spent the past couple of weeks, as Sean Davis of the Federalist put it, policing some young person’s group chat. What a podcast host said and what the head of a think tank over at Heritage had to say. I’m really glad that the Republicans devoted so much time to that. That was a great move.”
Kelly criticized the GOP for a tendency to accept defeat and indulge in complaints rather than effective action:
“The Republicans like to lose. They enjoy when they are embattled and in a losing position and complaining. They do it really well.”
She emphasized that strength appears only in Donald Trump, not within the party:
“Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to run,” Kelly added. “They don’t know what to do when daddy’s not there to fly them across the finish line. And that’s just been so obvious.”
Megyn Kelly strongly criticized the Republican Party for its failure to win elections without relying on Trump’s leadership, calling for urgent change in strategy and focus.
