Yamaha R15 Owner Receives Summons
A Malaysian motorcyclist received a summons from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) for not having a mud flap on his 155 cc motorcycle.
However, he was surprised to find out that his motorcycle was classified as having an engine capacity above 250 cc.
He was found riding his motorcycle without a mud flap at the Penang Bridge toll plaza motorcycle lane, breaking the law under Section K 31 of the Malaysia Road Traffic Rules 1959.
A mandatory appearance at the Magistrate’s Court was scheduled.
