Cineplex Community Day 2025: Free Movies and Gaming on November 15
Celebrate Community Day on Saturday morning, November 15, with free movies and gaming at local Cineplex theatres, Rec Room, Playdiums, and XSCAPE locations. This event supports BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Free Movies at Cineplex Theatres
Enjoy family-friendly films from Universal Pictures, including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
During the morning, select concession items such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy are available for $3 each, plus tax.
Gaming Offers at XSCAPE, The Rec Room, and Playdium
- XSCAPE locations provide 30 minutes of free non-redemption gaming.
- The Rec Room and Playdium open at 9:00 a.m. with one-hour free non-redemption game bands.
- Until noon, The Rec Room sells fries and mini donuts for $3 each.
- Playdium offers fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy for $3 each until noon.
Supporting BGC Canada
Throughout Community Day, $1 from every food and drink purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada.
“One dollar from every concession order of select items, including popcorn, soft drinks and candy purchased during the event, will be donated to the national nonprofit.”
