Jeremy Renner's filmmaking partner has accused him of sending "intimate photographs" and pornographic videos in an attempt to win her over. She also alleged that he went on drunken rants that made her fear for her safety, and later threatened to "call ICE" after they had a falling out.
Yi Zhou, 37, a Chinese filmmaker who collaborated with Marvel actor Jeremy Renner, 54, on a documentary and an animated movie, shared a series of accusations on Instagram. In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Zhou described an incident at Renner’s home during a meeting about their film.
"I was discussing about the doc logistics, then he drank a bottle of wine alone and got angry and angry yelling for two hours," Zhou said.
She explained that his behavior forced her to take safety precautions by sharing her location with her team, parents, and Disney colleagues. She also locked herself in a bathroom to avoid confrontation.
"I had to location share to my team, my parents and Disney colleagues in case something happens to me they know where I am. I had to lock myself in a room to be safe praying he would not come into the room at night as he was really angry. I did not say a word, I was so scared for my life."
Yi Zhou claims Jeremy Renner’s aggressive and unstable behavior, including sending explicit materials and drunken outbursts, caused her serious fear and safety concerns during their collaboration.
