Woodslee Remembrance Day Ceremony Honors Veterans

On November 2nd, community members, local officials, and veterans gathered at the Libro Community Centre cenotaph for the annual Remembrance Day ceremony organized by the Woodslee Millen Group. The event served as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by Canada’s armed forces and the lasting significance of remembrance in Lakeshore and throughout Essex County.

Opening Remarks by Essex MP Chris Lewis

“In perilous times, they left the comforts of home and country to fight for our freedom,” Lewis said. “In these unprecedented times, we pause to remember their sacrifice. We gather today, as we have in the past, to honour those who gave so much.”
