North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour the Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
On Sunday, 9 November, the people of North Lincolnshire will gather to pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of the armed forces. The event will take place in Scunthorpe, beginning with a parade and a remembrance service.
Event Schedule
- Tea and coffee will be available at The Baths Hall from 9:30am.
- Attendees may gather outside from 10:00am.
- The parade will assemble outside The Baths Hall at 10:10am and begin its procession at 10:25am.
- The route will go along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside the North Lincolnshire Museum.
- The remembrance service starts at 10:45am, featuring the Act of Remembrance and a two-minute silence at 11:00am, followed by wreath laying.
- After the ceremony, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
