On November 4, the creators of the meme token doNONdo (DND10) announced the establishment of the world’s first digital nomad state — State Without a State (SWS). The official proclamation was planned for November 5.
The declaration was designed as a collective moment of inactivity. Members of the project’s global community were invited to spend at least ten minutes doing nothing, symbolizing unity and calm intention.
“Participants are encouraged to visualize and embody the positive qualities of SWS — peaceful, creative, and transformative influences on millions of living beings on the planet,”
The founders of doNONdo sent an official notification to the United Nations, announcing the formation of SWS and expressing readiness to delegate representatives to the UN’s permanent assembly.
“Our initiative is based on the universal and cosmic right of all living beings to unite with like-minded individuals according to any principles or interests. We do not claim territories or challenge sovereignties — simply affirm the right of every living being to self-determination,” said project creator Miao Shan.
According to the announcement, participation in the SWS is open to all living beings, including algorithms and artificial intelligence. Members are still required to obey the laws of their own countries.
The SWS initiative by doNONdo introduces a virtual, non-territorial state founded on peace, creativity, and universal self-determination, bridging human and digital existence.
