Clark County is honored to present a compelling exhibit by the Nevada Center for Humanity’s Nevada Holocaust Museum. The Choices of Man Through the Lens of the Holocaust examines the moral and ethical decisions made by individuals and communities during the Holocaust and highlights the enduring consequences of those choices on history and humanity.
Featuring historic photographs, personal testimonies, and immersive stories, the exhibit stresses the importance of being an upstander—someone who acts rather than remains silent in the face of injustice. Visitors are encouraged to consider their own role in promoting human dignity and justice every day.
To celebrate the exhibit's opening, the public is invited to a reception on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will include presentations from notable speakers.
“The Choices of Man Through the Lens of the Holocaust explores the moral and ethical decisions individuals and communities made during the Holocaust—and the lasting impact those choices have had on history and humanity.”
The exhibit will remain open for public viewing until January 29, 2026, in the Government Center Rotunda.
Summary: This exhibit challenges visitors to reflect on moral choices made during the Holocaust and inspires them to actively uphold human dignity and justice today.
