Ukraine War Latest Updates: Special Forces Strike Oil Depots in Crimea

Live coverage of Russia’s war against Ukraine continues with frequent updates. On November 7, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SSO) reported that long-range drones targeted oil depots and logistics facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Drone Attacks on Crimea’s Oil Infrastructure

The SSO announced that a full RVS-400 tank at an oil depot near Hvardiiske village, about 20 kilometers north of Simferopol, was destroyed. This tank is used for storing oil and petroleum products. The Special Operations Forces shared drone footage of the strike on their Telegram channel.

“Special Operations Forces continue to act asymmetrically in countering the enemy's military capabilities.”

The Russian occupational administration in Crimea has not responded to these claims. The Kyiv Independent was unable to independently verify the SSO’s reports.
