PITTSBURGH — The Pitt men's basketball team rallied with a 14-3 run to finish the first half and maintained the lead to defeat Youngstown State 74-59 in the 2025-26 season opener at the Petersen Events Center on Monday night.
Youngstown State initially led in the early moments, but the Panthers took their first lead at 20-19 with a three-point play by Cameron Corhen. Although Youngstown State responded with a 6-0 run, Pitt's strong defense shifted momentum.
