LoL Esports
The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony presented by Mastercard will take place on November 8 at 11 p.m. GMT at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu. The show will launch the biggest esports event of the year with performances from artists across the globe.
Creative Collaboration
This year’s performance is created in partnership with DJ and producer Anyma, who joins Riot Games as a creative collaborator for ACT III of the Opening Ceremony. The production will merge technology, art, and storytelling, featuring powerful live vocals.
Featured Artists
- G.E.M. – Chinese pop singer born in Shanghai in 1991, who moved to Hong Kong at age four. She is also a songwriter, producer, and screenwriter with over 120 original tracks. Her song Light Years Away holds the Guinness World Record for the most-watched Chinese music video.
- Chrissy Costanza – Vocalist and long-time League of Legends collaborator, known for her dynamic voice and performances with Riot Games.
- TEYA – Austrian singer and songwriter whose distinctive style adds global flavor to the performance.
