Scrim Activity During Worlds 2025
From October 3rd until their quarterfinal exit on October 30th against Top Esports, G2 completed an intense scrim schedule, playing a total of 129 games across 35 scrim blocks. Their overall scrim win rate reached 54.2%, with 70 victories and 59 defeats.
Performance Against Different Regions
Scrim results reveal which regions G2 felt confident competing against and which posed challenges:
- LTA and LPL as Challenges: G2 struggled notably against the LTA and LPL regions. Their only notable LPL win was a best-of-one victory over BiliBili Gaming in Round 2. The heaviest single scrim defeat was a 1–6 loss to Invictus Gaming early in their run.
- Matches vs. LTA: Facing FlyQuest three times, G2 managed to secure a win only during a crucial stage match.
- Strong Showing vs. LCK: G2 scrimmed the South Korean region the most in total games, performing well overall. Notably, Hanwha Life Esports was the only LCK team they did not scrim during the tournament.
