Mark Richt, 65, who coached the Georgia Bulldogs from 2001 to 2015, has refuted rumors about his hospitalization. In a recent post on X/Twitter, he clarified the misinformation.
“Apparently, there’s something out there on the Internet saying that I’m in the hospital. But if you would have seen me running down the street today, it was so pitiful you probably would have thought I needed to be admitted to the hospital. Lol.”
Richt has faced health challenges in recent years, including a heart attack in 2019 and a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2021.
Mark Richt continues to remain active despite past health issues, dispelling false reports of his hospitalization.
