Gallagher Securities Strengthens ILS Structuring Team
Gallagher Securities, the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and capital markets broker-dealer division of Gallagher Re, has enhanced its structuring capabilities with the hire of Caroline Cassis. She joins from Swiss Re, where she specialized in catastrophe bond and ILS structuring.
New Senior ILS Structurer Role
Caroline Cassis assumes the role of Senior ILS Structurer at Gallagher Securities and will be based in New York. She reports to Andras Bohm, the firm's recently appointed Global Head of Structuring, hired from BMS.

- Started career in 2017 at BlackRock, working on the private equity team in Zurich.
- Worked for two years as a private equity analyst at Swiss Re in multiple locations.
- Shifted to reinsurance business development at Swiss Re’s Zurich office in 2020.
- Joined Swiss Re’s capital markets division in 2022 focusing on ILS and catastrophe bonds.
