Vancouver Canucks Terminate Vitali Kravtsov's Contract

The Vancouver Canucks have decided to part ways with 25-year-old Russian winger Vitali Kravtsov. General manager Patrik Allvin announced the team placed Kravtsov on unconditional waivers to terminate his contract.

Kravtsov's Recent Playing History

Kravtsov attended the Canucks' training camp in Penticton, B.C., before being assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Abbotsford Canucks. There, he recorded one goal and three assists in 10 games.

Background and Career

The Canucks acquired Kravtsov from the New York Rangers in February 2023. However, he spent most of the past two seasons playing for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL. The forward, standing six-foot-three and weighing 186 pounds, scored one goal and contributed one assist over 16 games in the 2022-23 season.

During the 2024-25 season, Kravtsov excelled with 27 goals and 31 assists across 66 games for Chelyabinsk.
