Sennecke, who has rapidly established himself in the NHL, scored the opening goal in the first period with a one-timer and added another in the second, according to News.Az citing ESPN. The 19-year-old now has six goals and five assists in 15 games, firmly securing his place on the Ducks’ roster after being drafted earlier this year.
Carlsson, 20, also delivered a strong performance by scoring twice on the power play. His goals came in the first and third periods, extending his point streak and bringing his season tally to 10 goals and 19 points over 10 games.
“Carlsson’s recent surge keeps him among the top scorers in the NHL,” ESPN reported.
Cutter Gauthier and Chris Kreider each contributed two assists, while goaltender Lukas Dostal made 23 saves to secure the victory. The Ducks have now scored 33 goals during their longest winning streak in two years.
For Winnipeg, Kyle Connor recorded the team’s lone goal, as the Jets continued to struggle, falling to 3–3 on their current road trip. Goalie Eric Comrie managed 17 saves in the loss.
The Ducks extended their hot streak to seven games with a dominant 4-1 win over the Jets, led by multi-goal efforts from Sennecke and Carlsson.
