“It’s not just a game”: Sens Skills is back!

OTTAWA – (November 6, 2025) The annual Sens Skills competition, where Ottawa Senators players compete for skills supremacy in a fun-filled day for families, returns to Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1 p.m. The event is sponsored by CAA North & East Ontario (CAA NEO).

Event Highlights

Senators players are split into two squads for head-to-head skill challenges.
Events include puck control relay, fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, individual obstacle course, five puck one-on-one, and 3-on-3 competitions.
Four “Junior Draft” players join the Senators, alongside athletes from the PWHL’s Ottawa Charge.
Doors open at 12 p.m.

Community Impact

The Sens Skills event supports the Senators Community Foundation and brings together more than 10,000 hockey families each year.
