Thursday, 6 November 2025 — Jetstar is expanding international travel options for Sunshine Coast residents with the introduction of new direct flights to Bali and convenient onward connections to Singapore starting from 25 March 2026.
The route will operate three times weekly on Jetstar’s advanced Airbus A321LR aircraft, offering over 70,000 affordable seats each year. This marks the first time a carrier has provided direct flights between the Sunshine Coast and Bali (Denpasar), a milestone for the region’s connectivity and tourism growth.
“With a direct flight time of just six hours, travellers can now skip the trip to Brisbane and head straight to Bali’s beaches, culture, and tropical charm — saving time, money, and effort.”
The new service adds to Jetstar’s expanding network, becoming the airline’s tenth direct route from Australia to Bali and fourth from Queensland. It follows the successful launch of direct Gold Coast to Bali services earlier this year.
Flights are timed to link seamlessly with Jetstar’s Bali–Singapore services, allowing passengers to leave the Sunshine Coast in the morning and reach Singapore by evening, all on one convenient itinerary.
Author’s summary: Jetstar opens a new Sunshine Coast–Bali–Singapore route in March 2026, giving Queensland travellers affordable, time-saving access to key Asian destinations.
