Paul "Bomber" Campbell

Paul “Bomber” Campbell passed away suddenly on October 29, 2025, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro after several months of declining health. Born in Truro, he was the son of Laura Mary (Finley) and Everett Malcolm Campbell.

After losing both parents at the age of eight, Bomber went to live with his Aunt Grace, Uncle John, and brother Bill. He is survived by his sons Mac (Nadine), Paul Dartt (Joy), and Turtle; grandchildren MacKenzie, Samantha, Regan, Brooklyn, and Gavin; and siblings Nancy (Greg), Patsy (Herb), Betty, and Bill. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Bomber was predeceased by the love of his life, Joan (VanIderstine), and his brother Bobby.

Hobbies and Interests

He enjoyed these activities as long as his health allowed. Bomber’s sons, nephews, and friends share many stories of Tangier fishing trips, where he courageously guided teenagers through unpredictable weather and canoeing challenges.

Bomber was an avid reader and sports enthusiast. He rarely missed an opportunity to cheer for his favorite teams, especially when watching Rachel Homan and the Toronto Blue Jays.
