Six people were wounded and one man was fatally shot in three separate violent incidents across New York City on Sunday night, authorities reported.
Shortly before 9 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call inside a building located between East 142nd and East 143rd Streets on Brook Avenue in the Mott Haven area. They found three male victims, including a teenager, suffering from gunshot wounds.
All three victims were transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
About 20 minutes earlier, police responded to a report of gunfire at a residence on 16th Road near 147th Street in Whitestone. At the scene, officers found two victims:
Both were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A firearm was recovered at the location, and detectives are investigating the circumstances.
Authorities also confirmed a separate fatal shooting in Queens later that night, adding to the city’s series of violent incidents under investigation.
“The investigations remain ongoing,” said an NYPD spokesperson.
