Promoter Frank Warren begins his 45th year as a licensed British boxing promoter with the Magnificent 7 event in January, led by heavyweights Moses Itauma and Jermaine Franklin. The show is organized by Queensberry Promotions at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday, January 24.
Warren, a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, has guided careers of fighters such as Frank Bruno, Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn, Amir Khan, Ricky Hatton, and Joe Calzaghe. His latest prospect, Itauma, is widely regarded as Britain’s next major boxing star.
“World champion-in-waiting.”
This is how Itauma, now 20 years old and boasting a record of 13-0 (11 KOs), is described in event publicity. In 2025, he secured victories over Mike Balogun and Dillian Whyte.
Franklin, holding a 24-2 record (15 KOs), comes from Saginaw, Michigan. He previously lost decisions to Whyte and Anthony Joshua but has since rebounded strongly, winning three straight fights.
Frank Warren celebrates 45 years in boxing promotion with an exciting Manchester card, headlined by rising star Moses Itauma and American contender Jermaine Franklin.
