SAN FRANCISCO, CA. – The Golden State Warriors (6-5) dominated the Indiana Pacers (1-9), outscoring them 49-18 in the final 15 minutes to secure a 114-83 victory on Sunday night, extending Indiana’s losing streak to four games.
With nine players unavailable, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle had limited options for his starting lineup. The opening five for Indiana included Andrew Nembhard, Ben Sheppard, Jarace Walker, Jay Huff, and Isaiah Jackson.
The Warriors jumped to an early 8-2 lead due to Indiana’s offensive struggles. Although Golden State nearly reached a double-digit lead multiple times in the first quarter, the Pacers managed to stay close, ultimately trailing 23-21 at the end of the period after outscoring the Warriors 15-8 in the last 7:10 of the quarter.
