Instant Restaurant Rounds Overview
During rounds 1 and 2, teams prepared a three-course meal scored by judges and competing teams. Round 3, the ultimate instant restaurant stage, raised the stakes:
- Teams presented two entrees, two mains, and two desserts.
- Judges Manu and Colin each tasted one dish from each category.
- Teams also selected one entree, main, and dessert from their menu to be scored.
- Scores were given out of 10 per course and for the entire menu.
First Ultimate Instant Restaurant Hosts: Justin and Will
Justin and Will kicked off the ultimate instant restaurant by serving two entrees:
- Malay beef samosas with tomato and chili chutney
- Kingfish crudo topped with black caviar
