Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton announced that the upcoming performances of their acclaimed West End play Stage/Fright will be its last. This play serves as a fitting farewell to Inside No. 9, their long-running comedy horror anthology series that recently concluded after nine seasons.
Stage/Fright premiered earlier this year at Wyndham’s Theatre and later toured the UK. Now, the creators have confirmed that they will end the play's run with one final engagement in London, potentially closing the door on Inside No. 9 as a series concept altogether.
"Stage/Fright has been a long goodbye, heading out on UK tour after its West End run, but now its creators have declared they’re done with it for good – and potentially Inside No. 9 as a concept – after one final run of shows."
Given the play's popularity and the size of the venue, tickets are expected to sell quickly, especially among the series' devoted fans.
