Antonin Tron Appointed Creative Director of Balmain
Balmain welcomes a new creative director as French designer Antonin Tron takes over from Olivier Rousteing, who led the house for 14 years.
Background and Career
- Antonin Tron studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
- He has worked with Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Saint Laurent as part of their design teams.
- In 2016, Tron founded the brand Atlein and won the First Collections Prize at the 2016 ANDAM Fashion Awards.
New Role at Balmain
Tron will now dedicate himself exclusively to Balmain, preparing to lead the French house into its next chapter.

His debut collection for Balmain is scheduled for the Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026 season, set for March.
