Lupita Jones Reveals Removal of Miss Universe Logo in Mexico HQ
Lupita Jones, Miss Universe 1991 and former national director of Miss Universe Mexico, disclosed that the Miss Universe logo has been removed from the Legacy Holdings headquarters in Mexico City. Legacy Holdings is owned by Raul Rocha, president of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO).

Sharing photos on her Instagram on Tuesday, November 11, Jones showed the Legacy Holdings building with no visible Miss Universe logo. She added a caption in Spanish:
“Experience cannot be improvised.”

Jones was the first Mexican to win Miss Universe and directed Miss Universe Mexico for over 30 years until her 2023 resignation. Her successor, Cynthia de la Vega, was announced by Anne Jakrajutatip, a Thai businesswoman and former MUO owner.
