Australian billionaire Adrian Portelli has finalized the transfer of all five Phillip Island houses from his The Block collection, selling each property to individual buyers after a livestreamed giveaway.
Portelli conducted separate giveaways for each of the five homes via his LCMT+ platform, attracting a large online audience and现场参与者. The events culminated in the assignment of ownership to five distinct buyers, who each acquired a single property from the block.
Adrian Portelli previously announced a major giveaway with two prize options: the entire resort or tax-free cash, and ultimately awarded cash to the prize winner, with the resort remaining as the asset involved in the final round of the promotion.
According to reports, the five winning buyers include a 43-year-old teacher, a 22-year-old West Australian, a woman named Martha, a mother named Donna, and a 50-year-old Sydney-based father, Jason.
Portelli had previously paid more than $15 million to acquire the five houses during The Block auction and had initially considered keeping the properties for events. The second giveaway was designed after an apparent lack of buyer interest in the properties as a single lot, resulting in five separate winners and the continuation of Portelli’s involvement with the Phillip Island resort asset.
Adrian Portelli’s strategy shifted from a singular resort sale to individual property transfers, leveraging livestream reach to conclude the distribution of all five houses while preserving the resort component as a focal asset.
