In the small town of Sasabe, Arizona, a bright yellow building stands out against the desert landscape. This building is the only store in Sasabe and has been in operation for over a century.
Deborah Grider, a fourth-generation Sasabe resident, runs the store. She is the third generation in her family to do so. Grider says,
It’s about the people, highlighting that her job is more than just business.
Despite the town's small size, with only three residents, Grider notes that
no two days are the same. Her family has deep ties to Sasabe.
The town's history and Grider's family legacy continue to thrive through the Sasabe Store.
