In a surprising turn of events, West Rowan extended its streak of consecutive victories against Rowan County opponents to 21.
The game was played at W.A. Cline Stadium, where East Rowan led the Falcons 27-7 in the fourth quarter, making West's 21st win in a row highly unlikely.
