Deputies from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office received a complaint on October 8 regarding an incident at a home located at 9793 KY Route 201.
A 41-year-old man, Rocky Darin Harless of Sitka, was taken into custody after firing a gun towards a wall inside the home, where seven people were nearby.
According to the arrest citation, Harless told police he intended to kill himself but lacked the courage to do so. He also admitted to hiding a gun in a fireplace next to his bed.

Deputies found that Harless had fired a weapon through a mirror hanging on a wall, with seven people in close proximity.
