A renovated building in downtown South Bend has officially opened as the city's new city hall, bringing all city offices under one roof.
"I think your City Hall is your heart of the city so we will be pumping live and progress back into all of South Bend. So, we are excited to be part of downtown area and excited our residence can see that South Bend is alive and well,"
said Pastor Canneth Lee, president of the South Bend common council. The new facility is located across from the Century Center on MLK Boulevard and is open to visitors Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.
Key features of the new city hall include a reception desk on the first floor, where city clerks can assist with navigating the various departments.
