Amarillo High Volleyball Aims to Remain Undefeated
The Amarillo High Sandies are the only volleyball team from District 3-5A to remain undefeated in district play, and they are looking to keep this streak alive as they host Tascosa on Tuesday.
The Lady Rebels have had a solid season, with a current record of 11-1 in district play, their only loss being to Amarillo High in September. They have swept every other team in the district.
“The last time we played them, we struggled with defending the middle a little bit and so I think we’ve got to make some adjustments on that side and I think we have in practice,”said Amarillo High head volleyball coach, Haleigh Burns.
Amarillo High is preparing to face a strong Tascosa team, and Coach Burns notes that her team knows what they need to improve on to take down Tascosa.
