Strengthening Australia’s Early Childhood Workforce
Australia’s early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector is at a critical point. A new project by HumanAbility aims to revamp foundational vocational qualifications, aligning training with evolving workforce needs, supporting career pathways, and ensuring educators have the necessary skills.
The HumanAbility initiative will review and update core vocational credentials for educators in Australia’s ECEC settings, including entry-level and intermediate qualifications.
These credentials must remain responsive to current and emerging skills and role expectations.
