Disney Revives Live-Action TANGLED Plans
Disney is moving forward with a live-action TANGLED movie, with Scarlett Johansson being considered for the role of Mother Gothel.
The original TANGLED, released in 2010, is a retelling of the fairy tale of Rapunzel, starring Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi.
"I was really proud of my scene," said supermodel Gigi Hadid, who auditioned for the role of Rapunzel, "The singing…I knew they were going to go with a real singer."
The studio has not yet announced who will play Rapunzel in the live-action adaptation.
