A new psychological thriller by Kathryn Bigelow, A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, brings attention to the ongoing threat of nuclear weapons.
The story begins with the detection of an ICBM of unknown origin by military sensors, heading towards the continental United States.
The assumption is that it has a nuclear warhead but there are many unanswered questions.
- Is it the start of a barrage or a single missile?
- Most importantly, what do we do?
Military sensors detected the single missile after its launch, making it difficult to determine its origin. The missile is coming from somewhere in Asia, but the exact source is hard to pinpoint.
Possible sources include North Korea, China, or even Russia, but all is unclear.
