Hull KR Pair on Verge of Rare History
Hull KR's Tyrone May and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves are close to achieving a rare feat in rugby league.
They have the chance to join a select group of players who have won Grand Finals on both sides of the world.
- Tyrone May was a substitute in the Penrith Panthers side that won the 2021 NRL Grand Final, defeating South Sydney Rabbitohs 14-12.
- Jared Waerea-Hargreaves started at prop in Sydney Roosters' NRL Grand Final wins in 2013, 2018, and 2019.
Adrian Morley is the only British player to have played in a Grand Final winning side in both England and Australia.
He won with Sydney Roosters in 2002 and with Bradford Bulls in 2005.
