Voter Verification Stations Open Across Country

According to Parliamentary Commissioner Harrison Thompson, voter verification stations are now open across the country.

Thompson stated that Family Island residents who were initially turned away from registering in New Providence have since been processed, as preparations continue for the next general election.

The Free National Movement’s Torchbearers Youth Association President Xavier Knowles said several young voters were denied the chance to register to vote.

Thompson clarified that only a handful of people were affected, including those from Inagua, and that the matters have been resolved.

Thompson urged anyone who still needs to register to visit the department.

Author's summary: Voter verification stations are now open across the country.
