A new organization, the New Energy Industrial Strategy Center, has been launched in partnership with the environmental group RMI to promote the use of advanced energy technologies.
The center will focus on key regions including the U.S., U.K., Europe, India, and Brazil, with a priority on issues such as manufacturing, permitting, and low-emissions hydrogen in the U.S.
The strategy center will publish policy advice, while also “working closely with the private sector”
According to Sarah Ladislaw, an RMI managing director, the center aims to power major areas of the global economy, including artificial intelligence computing and semiconductor production, with advanced energy technologies.
