Petition to Stop Revocation of Swedish Permanent Residence
A petition calling on the Swedish parliament to reject a proposal to revoke permanent residence permits has gained 40,000 signatures in two weeks.
The petition was launched by Hussain Momadi, a 26-year-old who came to Sweden as an unaccompanied child migrant in 2015 and now works in an old people's home.
"I'm one of the people who will perhaps be hit by this,"
Momadi told Swedish Radio, expressing concern over the proposal.
