CSUPD Introduces Blue Envelope Program
The Colorado State University Police Department is implementing the Blue Envelope Program to improve communication between community members and CSU Police, particularly for individuals with disabilities or conditions that affect communication.
The program was organized by CSUPD starting last April, with the goal of launching it this academic year. According to the program's purpose,
“At its heart, this program is about understanding and respect. The Blue Envelope Program provides community members who may have conditions or disabilities affecting communication with a simple yet powerful tool to help our officers better serve them during traffic stops.
The Blue Envelope Program aims to streamline interactions between community members and CSU Police.
