Porter Elementary Students Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
Students at Porter Elementary School celebrated cultural diversity with festivities honoring Hispanic Heritage Month.
The Bibb County School organized various activities, including students dressing in clothes representing different Hispanic cultures and cultural folklore dance performances outside for students and faculty.
"It's important because it promotes diversity... but also a sense of belonging as well," said Alex Perez, Porter Elementary School Intake Clerk.
