Ennis Gardaí are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred on October 13, 2025, at approximately 6:30-6:50pm.

A young person was walking her dog on the Tulla Road, using the pedestrian crossing near the Certa Filling station and Coffee Rush. She had a green light to cross, but as she reached the halfway point, an unknown vehicle drove through the crossing, hitting her and her dog.

The vehicle failed to stop and continued outbound on the Tulla Road. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone with dashcam footage from the Tulla Road or who may have witnessed the incident.
