Primary School Pupils Design Labels for Homegrown Honey

Over 115 local primary school students, aged 5-11, are participating in a competition to design a label for jars of honey produced by Fort Kinnaird's resident beehives.

The competition, hosted in partnership with Niddrie Mill Primary School, tasks pupils with creating a label for 100 jars of honey from the beehives located in the service area.

This competition follows a visit by Niddrie Mill pupils to the Fort Kinnaird beehives in June, where they learned about the importance of bees in the local environment and how to care for them.
