Trowbridge Car Park Decision Under Review
A decision by Wiltshire Council's Cabinet to transfer ownership of St Stephen's multi-storey car park in Trowbridge will undergo "urgent scrutiny" after being challenged by the Conservative opposition.
The Overview & Scrutiny Management Committee will hold an extraordinary meeting on October 16 to discuss the matter.
The Liberal Democrat administration voted for the asset transfer at a Cabinet meeting on October 7, with part of the deal agreed behind closed doors.
The deal will need to be ratified by full council at a date yet to be determined.
