Milford Baptist Church Honors Pastor for 20 Years of Service
Milford Baptist Church celebrated Pastor Clarence Howard's 20th anniversary as pastor of the church on Sunday, Oct.
Pastor Howard was born in Easley, S.C., and grew up in Pickens County. He attended Clemson University, earning a bachelor's degree in social work, and later received his theological training at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree.
Pastor Garland Sentell of Pickens, S.C., taught me to have a great work ethic, visiting every patient at the local hospital at 7 o'clock every morning.
Pastor Howard's use of alliteration in his sermons was inspired by Dean M. Weaver, pastor of Forest Hill Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C.
