Carmel Swim Club hosted the first stop of the World Swimming Cup, attracting fans and media from around the world.
The event took place at Carmel High School's Aquatic Center, a relatively new facility that opened last year.
As
"a lot of fun", the meet showcased top-class swimming, solidifying Carmel's reputation as Swim City.
Attendees included Ruri Lee and her mother Nayeon Jo, who moved to Dayton, Ohio from Brisbane, Australia, and cheered for the Australian swimmers.
The international swimming community was already aware of Carmel's reputation, having produced Olympic gold medalists and world-class swimmers.
