Rivian is adding new charging features to its R1T and R1S electric vehicles to make life easier for owners on the road.

In the upcoming 2025.38 software update, owners will be able to use Plug & Charge, allowing them to start a charging session automatically without paying at the site, as long as they have a payment method set up in their Rivian account.
